We spend a lot of time at the Divi Carina Bay. Like it's counterpoint, Carambola, on the west end, Divi has a remote location on the south shore on the east end of St. Croix. Divi is crisp and fresh, and from the moment you walk into the resort you are met by the sparkling turquoise sea amplified by the color and style of the decor of this new resort on beautiful Grapetree Beach. There is always something going on at the Divi: beach barbecue, steel drum bands, jazz trios, not to mention St. Croix's first casino bringing nightlife to the east end of St. Croix. The food is delicious at the Starlight Restaurant and we think their Sunday brunch is the best on the island. We have found the staff at both the Starlight and Dockside Market and Deli to be exceptional. The service is good, but what makes it exceptional is the friendly attitude and smiling faces on everyone. Nothing is a problem for the Divi when it comes to making you happy. What a treat to relax under the natural tiki umbrellas, shading the afternoon sun, with a pina colada or rum punch, on this tranquil beach.
